WebJul 1, 2024 · When my contract ended, the price remained the same. It just switched from 2 years to a month to month plan. What I did do when my contract ended, and my device was paid off, was I called Telus and asked about a "bring your own device" discount for the current plan. That was a while back so they might still do that. Never hurts to ask 🙂 WebWell, you can pay EVEN MORE on your monthly device cost ($25 / month instead of $14.17) and not have the pay the "Bring it Back" fee at the end of the contract, but either way, you're going to end up paying $600 for the phone: $14.17 x 24 months + $260 "Bring it Back" fee = $600.08. $25 x 24 months = $600.00. Wut.
