WebDec 28, 2024 · The Tapt switch is in the bedroom and replaced the original outlet switch. It's in "Smart Load" mode so that power is never actually cut to the outlet & therefore to the Pivot. I understand this is because the switch is essentially acting as a robot and has to go to the cloud... now the questions. I have 2 and they're convenient to install but not super reliable. Usually every few months i have to reset them which basically means holding down both buttons at the same time for 15+ seconds and then reconfigure them.
